Why focus on creating a resource for people in Social services?

Great question! As a professional counselor and supervisor of interns (and former educator), I’ve noticed the growing stress within the field of social services. Burnout and compassion fatigue are extremely high in thee professions due to all the stress and requirements placed on people who’s job is to help others. Though the articles within the weekly emails have a particular focus on instilling greater levels of resilience and joy for social service workers, it can also be helpful for anyone to learn more about wellness practices and living a better, healthier life!
